Jane Glasson
Head of Development

Jane is Head of Development at Spun Gold TV, tasked with managing the expanding development team and helping increase the output of programming across multiple genres. Before joining Spun Gold, Jane worked as a Producer, Producer/Director and Series Producer on a number of factual entertainment and documentary series for various independent companies including Tiger Aspect Productions, September Films, Pioneer Productions, Scream Films/Fox Television UK, StoryVault Films and Burning Bright Productions.

Jane has worked extensively in both Development and Production, previously being Head of Development at Scream Films, where she worked for many years and helped grow the company. She specialises in producing documentaries abroad – from Series Producing ‘My Shocking Story’, a 6 x 60′ series for Discovery/TLC filming medical mysteries and unknown syndromes worldwide to producing travel shows such as Sky One’s ‘Final Chance to Save…’ and ITV’s ‘Caroline Quentin: A Passage Through India’. For five years, Jane lived on the Isle of Man where she worked on several commercials, TV shows and videos filmed on the island, and Co-Produced an award-winning short film called ‘Him Upstairs’.
