Ben joined the company to work on the Channel 4 documentary, “The Death of Celebrity”, presented by Piers Morgan. He is a qualified solicitor and spent several years working for two large law firms in the City – specialising in High Court Litigation. He moved into television in the early noughties, when he joined Carlton TV to work on the long-running ITV series, “Neighbours From Hell”. Ben then spent a couple of years running the Factual Documentaries Development department, during which he also worked on a range of factual productions. Commissions during this period included: “Neighbours From Hell” (ITV), “Holiday Hospital” (ITV), “Curse of the Titanic Sisters” (Five) and “Killers on Camera” (ITV).

In 2004 Ben joined the newly formed ITV, working on a range of programmes including the consumer format “House of Horrors”. Since then, Ben has worked as a freelance Producer for a number of Indies including Leopard Films and Lion Television. Ben has been running the Development department at Spun Gold TV since August 2005.
