Katja first started work in television in 1998, working as the Assistant to two Senior Sales Executives of Pearson TV’s International Sales department (now Fremantle Media). After two years, Katja left Pearson TV and worked as a Senior Level PA for various Chief Executives, Vice Presidents and Senior Vice Presidents of companies such as ITV Digital, Columbia TriStar, Nickelodeon, Granada, Carlton TV and Target Entertainment.

In 2002 Katja joined Carlton Television as Personal Assistant to Nick Bullen, then Controller of the Factual Entertainment department.

Katja was headhunted by Nick to join fledgling Spun Gold TV in November 2004 with an expanded portfolio that went far beyond her previous Personal Assistant role. Katja is now responsible for all office administration at Spun Gold TV and is the first point of contact for broadcaster liaison and all banking matters, plus internal Human Resources and trade relationships.
