Matt
began his career at LWT working on many of their big
Entertainment shows including “Tarrant on TV” and “Dame
Edna”. He then trained as a Director at Granada working
on a number of projects including “Stars in Their
Eyes” and a tribute to the Bee Gees. He then freelanced
as a P/D on a number of Entertainment and Factual Entertainment
shows for Tiger Aspect, Carlton TV, Pearson TV (now Fremantle
Media) and Talent TV.
Following this, he became
the Series Producer of “The Villa”, the original
reality series for Sky One, which was one of their highest
rated shows for three years. He has spent the subsequent
six years Producing and Executive Producing series and one-offs
for ITV, Sky One, Five and VH-1 in the UK and Fox in the
US, including "Surprise Wedding 1 and 2" (ITV),
"Magician Impossible" (ITV), "Max Magic"
and "Kirsty’s Home Videos" (Sky One).
Matt is now Executive
Producing at Spun Gold TV responsible for the company’s
entertainment output.
