Appointed as Editor of “This Morning”, the incredibly successful UK daytime show, after only his first three years in TV, Nick achieved many broadcasting coups whilst at the helm, including leading the show to its first ever National Television Award.

From here, Nick moved on to become Executive Producer of Entertainment at Granada TV, producing some of the biggest shows of the late 90’s, including Carol Vorderman’s “Find A Fortune” and Martine McCutcheon’s “This Is My Moment”.

Headhunted to be Controller of Factual Entertainment at Carlton TV, Nick was tasked with creating the department from scratch. In four years, he built turnover from zero to £12m and was responsible for a range of hits across a host of Broadcasters, from ITV and Channel 4 to Sky One and BBC3.

In 2004 the opportunity arose for Nick to take all he’d learnt through the years at Granada & Carlton and launched his own production company – Spun Gold TV

Today, Nick and his team are regularly the first port of call for Talent Agents looking to develop projects for their celebrity clients as a result of the trust he has built up with them over his years in the industry.
